1. Information We Collect
ProspectHalo collects information you provide directly, including your email address, name, and profile image when you create an account or sign in with Google. We also collect account-level usage data such as searches, filters, exports, contact usage, billing tier, and settings preferences needed to operate the product.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to authenticate you, run searches, return search results, enforce plan limits, provide exports, connect optional integrations such as Google Sheets, process billing, prevent abuse, improve product performance, and communicate important account or service updates. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Authentication, Storage, and Security
ProspectHalo uses Better Auth for authentication and stores account, search, and application data in Convex. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, but no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
4. Contact Data and Search Results
ProspectHalo returns business contact data sourced through third-party data providers. Search results may include names, job titles, company details, email addresses, phone numbers, professional profile URLs, and related professional data. You are responsible for using this contact data in compliance with applicable outreach, privacy, and marketing laws.
5. Exports and Integrations
If you choose to export data, ProspectHalo may generate CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets outputs for your account. If you connect Google services, we only use the permissions necessary to complete the requested export or integration flow.
6. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by Whop. ProspectHalo does not store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled according to Whop's own policies and infrastructure.
7. Analytics and Service Monitoring
We may use privacy-conscious analytics and operational monitoring tools, including Vercel Analytics, to understand product usage, improve performance, and diagnose reliability issues. These tools help us analyze aggregated traffic and app behavior.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain billing and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize data where reasonably practical, subject to legal and operational requirements.
9. Your Choices
You may update your account information, disconnect integrations, or request account deletion from within the product where available. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.
