Set up in four steps
Generate an API key
In ProspectHalo, open Settings and the AI agents tab, then click Generate key. Copy it right away: for your security it is shown only once.
Add the connector URL
Paste https://www.prospecthalo.com/api/agent/v1/mcp?key=<your-key> into your AI agent's connector or MCP settings. Clients that support headers can instead send the key as Authorization: Bearer.
Paste the operator prompt
Copy the operator prompt from the same Settings tab into your chat. It teaches the agent every tool, the recommended workflow, and the guardrails.
Ask for a briefing
Ask something like: give me a briefing on my prospecting. The agent reads your workspace and reports agents, lead counts, hot leads and blockers in plain English.

Which AI agents work with it?
Any MCP-compatible client: Claude (web and desktop), ChatGPT, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, OpenClaw, Hermes and more. Clients that cannot set custom headers use the ?key= form of the URL.
Is it safe to let an AI touch my outreach?
Every operation runs through the same server-side checks as the dashboard: plan limits, account ownership, LinkedIn daily safety caps, suppression lists and duplicate protection. Replies only work on existing conversations, and destructive actions require an explicit confirmation.
Which plans include it?
Every paid plan. MCP and API access is not an add-on.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. Keys are workspace scoped and revocable in Settings at any time; only a hash is ever stored on our side.
Is there a plain REST API too?
Yes. The same tools are available as REST endpoints, described by an OpenAPI schema, for scripts and platforms without MCP support.
